The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has directed the government to take a departmental action against Secretary Shreedhar Gautam for delaying decision making. The CIAA sprang into action against Gautam, then executive secretary at the Nepal Trust, for his inaction over the application filed for ownership transfer of Gokarna Forest Hotel and Resort. “Secretary Gautam did not act upon the application filed by the Indian company LM Brothers which is against the Nepal’s foreign investment policy,” CIAA claimed.
