Born on March 14, 1969 in Khapunath-6 of Humla, a mahasamiti member of NC, Jeevan Bahadur Shahi actively plunged into politics in 1997. A graduate from Management Faculty, Shahi served as chief at School Department of NC from 1997 till 2012. He is currently serving as a central member of NC. Prior to that, he was a member of Organization Department. He contested from Humla-1 in 2008 CA election, but lost to then CPN-Maoist’s Karna Jit Budhathoki, who received 13,318 votes. Shahi received 5,196 votes. He has two sons and a daughter.
