At least 12 persons were killed in a bus accident in Sahajpur of Kailali on Friday midnight. The bus (Na 5 Kha 5420) was en route to Mahendranangar from Dipayal of Doti district. The ill-feted bus fell 500 meter off the road near Vasubhir (cliff) along the Bhimdutta Panta Highway. Nine commuters were killed on the spot. Security personnel have been deployed for a rescue job. The injured have been rushed to Padma Hospital and Sewa Nursing Home at Attariya, Kailali. Also, Two persons died and 27 others sustained injuries after a passenger bus (Ma 1 Kha 415) en route to Mahendranagar from Dhangadhi met with an accident in Laljhadi of Krishnapur-2 in Kanchanpur on Friday afternoon.
