The Nepali national cricket after defeating Uganda in the ICC World Cricket Division-3 returned home on Friday and received a rock-star welcome.They received heroes’ welcome upon their arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu on Friday after becoming the champions in the ICC World Cricket League Division III held in Malaysia, on Friday. Hundreds of jubilant Nepali cricket fans gathered at TIA gate waving national flags to cheer the Nepali cricket team bringing home the title of ICC WCL Division III. They chanted slogans demanding construction of an international-level stadium. Minister for Youth and Sports Purushottam Poudel has said that the government will focus its attention on acquiring One Day International (ODI) status for Nepali cricket team.
