Danny" Denzongpa is an Indian actor of Sikkimese-Bhutia descent, working in Bollywood films. He has acted in numerous Nepali films such as Saino. He has also starred in some international projects, the most famous being Seven Years in Tibet where he acted alongside Hollywood actor Brad Pitt. In 2003, Denzongpa was awarded the Padma Shree, India's fourth highest civilian honour. Denzongpa is noted for his villainous and character roles. The song "man ko kura lai" is one of the most memorable nepali song by Danny Denzongpa. This is also a classic ever popular song as Rato Rani, Hiun Bhanda Chiso, Suna katha, Samaya Panchhi Ho, Chiso Chiso Hawama in his account. These songs have framed Denny Denzongpa as a lovable singer in nepali music beyond his other profession, despite of being amateur singer .
