The Manakamana Temple in Gorkha, the Gorkha Durbar, the Palanchowk Bhagwati, in Kavrepalanchowk, the Rani Mahal in Palpa, the Janaki Mandir in Janakpur, the Churiyamai in Makwanpur, the Dolakha Bhimsensthan in Dolakha, and the Nuwakot Durbar were partially destroyed.
Prime Minister Sushil Koirala participated in the debris removing campaign undergoing at the Basantapur Durbar Square area, which was damaged by recent earth quake of 7.8 magnitude. Basantapur Durbar Square area is enlisted in the list of World Heritage Sites.The Nepalese Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and Kathmandu Metropolitan City are working with priority for the same.Prime Minister Koirala also inspected the Basantapur Durbar, Hanumandhoka, Narsingh Chowk and Kumari Ghar.
