Passengers are facing difficulties due to traffic jam caused by poor diversion built after a bridge over Jayshree stream along the East-West Highway that had collapsed on Monday.
Adding to the passengers' woes, thousands of people are left stranded following Chitwan and Nawalparasi shutdown demanding reinstatement of Nepal as a Hindu nation on Wednesday.
Vehicular movement along the highway had resumed from 5 pm on Tuesday evening after 24 hours.
