Korea Provides 27 Heavy Equipment to Nepal

Home Secretary Surya Prasad Silwal and Korean ambassador to Nepal Choe Yong-jin signed and exchanged the agreement to hand over 27 heavy equipment from the government of Republic of Korea to the Government of Nepal.

Home Secretary Surya Prasad Silwal and Korean ambassador to Nepal Choe Yong-jin signed and exchanged the agreement to hand over 27 heavy equipment from the government of Republic of Korea to the Government of Nepal. After signing the agreement, Korean ambassador to Nepal Choe Yong-jin also handed over those heavy equipments to secretary Silwal at Nepal Police Club. Addressing the program, Ambassador Choe Yong-jin said these equipment will be helpful in reconstruction phase to clear debris. Home secretary Silwal said these equipment will significantly contribute to facilitate the reconstruction process. "These equipments will fulfill basic requirement of Nepalese government in search and rescue operation," said Silwal.
