President Ram Baran Yadav on Monday granted pardon to the corruption convict Pradeep Jung Pandey, immediate past president of the(FNCCI) Federation of the Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry.The President’s legal advisor Lalit Bahadur Basnet confirmed that Pandey is also in the list.President's Office states that the commutation was granted to 21 persons on the recommendation of Cabinet. “The individuals convicted by various district courts have been pardoned on the recommendation of Cabinet,” said the statement. A Cabinet meeting on Friday had decided to grant clemency to 21 convits.
