Madhesh-based parties, has decided to intensify its agitation. Chairman of Federal Socialist Party Upendra Yadav, Vice-chair Renu Yadav, Terai Madhesh Loktantrik Party chairman Mahanta Thakur and vice-chair Hridayesh Tripathi, among others, were present in the meeting. It also reached a series of other decisions to change the course of future agitation. They have decided to give continuity to transportation strike, but decided to open markets. In addition to closing border points, they have decided to target banks and financial institutions in a bid to intensify protests.
