
Newly appointed Deputy Prime Ministers and Ministers took the oath of office and secrecy from President Bidya Devi Bhandari. Bhim Rawal, CP Mainali and Chitra Bahadur KC were sworn in as deputy prime ministers. Likewise, Bishnu Paudel (Finance Minister), Sherdhan Rai (Communication Minister), Ananda Pokheral (Tourism Minister), Shanta Manavi (Minister of Labour) took oath as ministers. Along with portfolio of deputy prime ministers, Rawal was appointed as Minister of Urban Development, KC as Minister of Poverty Alleviation and Mainali as Ministry of Women, Children and Social Welfare. With the expansion, this cabinet now holds the record for having the highest number of deputy prime ministers.
