At least four Nepali citizens were injured from the bullets shot by Indian Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) at Bhantabari in Haripur-7 of Sunsari district on Wednesday. The injured have been identified as the locals Manoj Yadav, Ashok Yadav, Saroj Yadav and Naresh Yadav. According to the District Police Office, Sunsari, the source of the bullets is unknown. However, the locals have said that the police team of SSB started firing, police said. The four injured were reportedly importing foodstuffs from the Indian market across the border when the incident occurred. The injured are being treated at a hospital in Ghopa of Dharan. Two of them are serious, police added. Police further added that they are investigating into the case.
