Cadres of the agitating Madhesi Morcha vandalised an ambulance carrying child patient at Katahari of Morang district on Friday.The agitators hurled a petrol bomb on the vehicle in Birgunj Municipality of Parsa last night as the vehicle headed towards Janakpur, a southern Nepal town, the police said. District Police Spokesperson DSP Pramod Kharel informed that the morcha cadres pelted stones at the ambulance ( Ko 1 Ta 7679) en route to Biratnagar from Rangeli in the district, carrying a child patient suffering from pneumonia. The Morcha cadres started vandalising the ambulance without even letting the child and morther inside the vehicle to come out. The mother of the child has sustained minor injuries in the attack.
