President Bidya Devi Bhandari visited the Adikavi Bhanubhakta Campus in Damauli on Wednesday. Nepal Army’s Durga Bahadur Thapa informed that security arrangements for the President’s visit have been made. Nepal Army’s bomb disposal unit and security personnel from all three security forces along with sniffer dogs been deployed to ensure the Head of the State’s security. It has been learned that Education Minister Giriraj Mani Pokharel and Science and Technology Minister Shivalal Thapa are also taking part in the programme. The fete aims to collect around Rs 50 million. According to the organisers, the campus aims at converting it into a university.
