Sadbhawana Party Chairman Rajendra Mahato met Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Sushil Koirala at the latter’s residence in Maharajgunj on Monday morning. During the meeting, according to Mahato, he made it clear to Koirala that the ongoing crisis could not be resolved without addressing the issue of demarcation of provincial boundaries, and urged the latter to take an initiative to forge agreement among the stakeholders. In response, Koirala stressed on the resolving the issues through negotiations and suggested Mahato that the agitating United Democratic Madhesi Front should be flexible. After his return from New Delhi, Mahato had met Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Nepali Congress senior leader and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba yesterday. Mahato is scheduled to meet UCPN-Maoist Chairman and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal at 4 pm today, according to the Sadbhawana Party sources.
