Police investigations revealed that the murderer of four members of a same family in Bhoteodar of the district two weeks ago was no one, but their own family member. Ram Mani Regmi (29) of Piple, BhoteOdar-4 killed his 60-year-old father Arjun Prasad, Arjun’s 35-year-old adopted daughter Reena Ghimire, Ram Mani’s 14-year-old sister Jyoti and Arjun’s adopted grandson 12-year-old Bikas Ghimire on October 1, the sixth day of the Bada Dashain festival. According to police, Ram Mani has already confessed the crime. Police imformed that the crime was implusive not planned. Mani was under the influence of alcohol while he hit the family members with a wooden log, said DSP Achyut Pudasaini of District Police Office. In the video, Ram Mandi said that “The father would neglect me from the age of 14 and He would not even consider me his son and would neglect my mom also.”
