Deadly blast rocks capital of Thailand

At least 27 people have been killed and dozens more wounded by a bomb blast that hit the commercial center of the Thailand capital Bangkok.Multiple news reports put the number of people killed at more than a dozen. Scores of people were wounded in the blast at about 7 p.m. local time.In an earlier report, Reuters had said that at least 27 people had died, including four foreigners. Nearby offices have reportedly been evacuated, according to reports on social media. The bomb was placed inside the Erawan Shrine area, Defence Minister Prawit Wongsuwon said.
