Bikes And Cars On Queue For Petrol

A total of 1.2 million litres of petrol will be distributed to private vehicles from tomorrow till Saturday in Kathmandu Valley from more than 60 fuel pumps each day. Nepal Oil Corporation has already published the list of fuel pumps assigned to distribute fuel to private vehicles in Kathmandu Valley and nearby towns Banepa, Dhulikhel and Panchkhal of Kavre district. Separate fuel stations have been assigned to distribute fuel every day.

Based on the location and distribution capacity, fuel stations will get 4,000 litres to 12,000 litres of petrol per day. Government-owned fuel pumps will also distribute fuel to private vehicles based on their turns tomorrow, Friday and Saturday. Thus, vehicle owners have been advised to check the fuel station that has been assigned to distribute fuel on that particular day as per their lot before queuing. Fuel will be distributed on the basis of the lot of the vehicles. Motorcycles of 1-30 lot and cars of 1-5 lot can refill tomorrow. Likewise, 31-50 lot motorcycles and cars from 6-8 lot will be able to purchase fuel on Friday and the remaining lot will get the fuel on Saturday.
