District police in Gaur municipality arrested 25 cadres of CK Raut on Thursday. CK Raut has been launching secession campaign for independent Madhes. According to police, the cadres of Raut were preparing to hold a rally for separate Madhes at BP Chok in district headquarters Gaur. The arrestees are kept at police office for investigation purpose. DSP Ramesh Pokhrel informed that the police took custody of the protesters before they could convene their programme.
