Police on Saturday rounded up 10 persons from Dadeldhura,including 2 Government Servent, on the charge of gambling. Acting on a tip-off, a joint team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Crime Division and Metropolitan Police Range raided a gambling den and arrested the gamblers withcash and several decks of playing cards. The law does not allow Nepalis to enter casinos with the intent of gambling. But this does not seem to have deterred people from entering illegally operated gambling dens and putting their property at stake.
