Synergies between Air Force and Formula One were highlighted when Red Bull Racing brought their Formula One (F1) demonstration car and driver, Daniel Ricciardo, to RAAF East Sale as part of a Defence Force recruiting campaign aimed at potential pilots. During the two day production, technicians from both Red Bull and Air Force had the opportunity to compare maintenance techniques while observing, first hand, how each group operated in support of achieving superiority as a professional team.
