A transport operator is suspected to have been kidnapped at Lahan municipality of Saptari on Saturday. A jeep entrepreneur, Guru Dayal Mahato, 35, of Lahan municipality-3 Siraha was abducted from Rupani-Kathauna road section of yesterday at 9 pm, family sources said.Family of Gurudayal Mahato, who was abducted 18 days ago from Lahan, is in despair as Mahato’s whereabouts are still unknown. A jeep driver by profession, Mahato (32) has been missing since November 15, when he was returning from Itahari after leaving some passengers.Police had said he was abducted from Amada Bridge along the East-West Highway.According to Shiv Dayal Mahato, victim’s elder brother, Mahato went out of contact at around 9 pm while he was returning back with passengers.
