Local administration in the district has banned the activities that are against the sovereignty and national integrity.CK Raut is a former PhD scholar at the Machine Intelligence Laboratory (formerly the Speech, Vision and Robotics [SVR] group), supervised by Dr. Mark Gales. He was a member of Emmanuel College in Cambridge University. He is former US-based Nepali computer scientist, author and social activist. Born in Saptari district, Nepal, he holds a PhD from Cambridge University. He served as a scientist in the USA, prior to resigning and returning to Nepal in 2011. The administration has banned the mass gathering called by CK Raut-led Free Madhes Alliance in Biratnagar today. Morang Chief District Officer Ganesh Raj Karki said that the administration banned the activities that are against the national sovereignty and integrity as well as different programmes of publicity.
