(SSP) Uttam Karki, chief of Metropolitan Police Range comment on prostitution in Kathmandu Valley.
The crime rate in last six months has been decreased. However, there are questions on if the rate has been decreased in reality or is it just limited to number. SSP Uttam Karki, the chief of Kathmandu police is happy that the crime rate has been decreased. Uttam Karki is thankful to public, media and all the police officers for making it possible. He further says he is not going to compromise when it comes to law. “The rate of criminal activities won’t decrease if we give focus to a single thing. We need to work right from the micro level. For example: Proper administration, resource management, staff dealing, investigation, planning are the factors that help in minimizing the crime rate and maintaining peace in the society. I have always take heed in all these things. I want public to feel safe”
