Engines fail on Singapore Airlines flight

Both engines on Singapore Airlines flight 836 temporarily shut down over the South China Sea as the jetliner passed through bad weather. CNN's Rene Marsh reports.Singapore Airlines Limited is the flag carrier of Singapore which operates from its hub at Changi Airport and has a strong presence in the Southeast Asia, East Asia, South Asia, and Oceania.The airline, along with its subsidiaries SilkAir, Scoot, and Tiger Airways, flies to 119 destinations across 35 countries. Last week Airbus warned of a technical bug potentially affecting the engines of its A400M military planes that was discovered during an internal test after one crashed in Spain.
