Four parties agree to form national unity government

Posted by Anup Baral May 31, 2015 :Top three parties have agreed to form a national unity government. At the meeting held in the Prime Minister's official residence in Baluwatar. Parties reached an understanding to settle the disputed issues of the constitution drafting process by June 3 and to form a national unity government. Despite repeated discussions and dialogues, political parties have failed to come together on the number, demarcations and names of the federal provinces. Likewise, the parties also differ on their views on the the form of governance. However, UCPN (Maoist) has agreed to promulgate the constitution with its note of dissent" in the form of governance proposed by NC and UML.
