Leader being questioned by people

Posted by Anup Baral May 03, 2015 :
A meeting of the senior leaders of the Nepali Congress, CPN-UML and the UCPN (Maoist) party was held this morning in order to discuss about the increasing public outcry over the failure to reach relief support to the quake survivors, especially in the remote parts of the country.
An agreement was reached to allow anyone interested to distribute relief materials as per the need in the quake-affected areas but with due attention to avoid any duplication, said senior NC leader Sher Bahadur Deuba. As distribution of relief materials through one-door system was getting delayed, all interested can distribute the relief support in the areas affected by the quake under government’s coordination, he added. UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who attended the meeting, told media persons that very fruitful discussion was held about ways to making the relief distribution effective and about the upcoming Legislature-Parliament meeting scheduled for May 7. Also speaking on the occasion, UML Vice-chair Bidya Devi Bhandari said matters relating to the rescue, relief, resettlement and reconstruction works were discussed during the meeting, and the role of the government for the same.
