Political Interview with Gagan Thapa

Nepali Congress leader and CA member Gagan Thapa has built temporary home foe earthqquake victims of Kumari VDC in Nuwakot.Theyhave build 48 homes just in 2 days. Construction materials like tin bamboo,roof were brought from the kathmandu while wood was managed at local level by the team. Relatives of inmates living at Banke Prison staged demonstrations in front of the District Administration Office on Sunday demanding relocation of prisoners kept in earthquake-damaged building.


Gagan Thapa is Youth Leader and Member of the Constituent Assembly of Nepal.He is a Nepalese politician, belonging to the Nepali Congress. He is, at present, one of the most popular and influential youth political leaders in Nepal widely followed in various social networking sites.Thapa was born in 1977 in Solukhumbu. He is the son of Mahendra Kumar Thapa and Rameshwari Thapa. He finish his Masters Degree in Sociology.He began his political career in 1990. He was the general secretary of the NC's student wing Nepal Student Union since 2003 till 2005. Known for his oratory skills, Thapa came into public attention with his aggressive speeches during the movement against the direct rule of the then King Gyanendra. He also criticizes his own party leaders.
