The Office of the Controller of Examinations, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur has published the results of the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) Examinations-2071 BS, a short while ago.
Examinations controller Bishnu Bahadur Dware said 47.43 per cent students passed under the regular stream. Last year’s SLC exam pass percentage was 43.92.
As per the results, 92 thousand 267 candidates have passed. Similarly, 21 thousand 247 have passed with distinction marks, 90 thousand 176 students with First Division marks, 76 thousand 482 with Second Division marks and 4,362 with Third Division marks.
The SLC results were announced by holding a news conference at the hall of the Department of Education at Sanothimi soon after the SLC Board meeting concluded.
Out of the 574 thousand 685 students who filled up the application forms for the exams, 453 thousand 038 took the exams. One hundred and forty five thousand 183 students appeared in the exam in the exempted category and 3,288 under the technical stream.
