Discussions on the public feedbacks on the preliminary draft constitution bill have begun in the Constituent Assembly (CA) meeting. Before this, the citizens relations and constitution suggestion committee chair Pramila Rana presented a proposal seeking the CA begin discussions on the report. The proposal was tabled in the CA on Tuesday. In the meeting, CA chair Subas Nembang said that the public feedbacks, lawmakers’ suggestions and people’s opinions have been received and even the respective committee has submitted the report on the issues in the CA and that these suggestions received from across 75 districts would be archived. Taking part in the discussions on the draft constitution bill, lawmaker Bhim Rawal stressed on promulgating a new constitution by mid-August. He pointed out the need of promulgating the new constitution even to make the people prosperous, independent and economically sound as the people faced political instability for a long time expecting the same.
