Molten lava streams down Hawaii's Kilauea volcano, helicopter footage

Posted by Anup Baral August 29, 2015 :
A large breakout of lava erupted from a volcano on Hawaii's Big Island on Thursday (August 27) and has flowed into the surrounding forest, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

It is not expected to pose a threat to surrounding communities. The thick stream of lava flowed from the east side of the Kilauea Volcano, one of the most active volcanoes in the world, and is still spreading. A fast-moving river of molten lava from erupting volcano Kilauea creeps over Hawaii's Big Island. Rough cut (no reporter narration). Reuters tells the world's stories like no one else.
