Tri-Chandra Campus students set micro-bus ablaze, after it knocks down their classmate. Students agitated by the knocking down of their classmate by a micro-bus in front of their campus gate this morning set the micro-bus on fire, and beat up the driver before police intervened.
The incident took place in front of Tri-Chandra Campus at Ghantaghar in the capital when Namgyal Sherpa, a B.Sc. first year student, was coming out of the college. He was hit by the micro-bus just at the gate of his college. A permanent resident of Okhaldhunga, Sherpa later succumbed to his injuries at the Model Hospital in Bagbazaar, according to police. The incident also led to a clash between the agitated students and police. Several students have been reported injured in the process. RSS
