Nepal to Get new constitution on September 20TH at 5 O'clock. The new Constitution will now be officially promulgated by Nepal President Ram Baran Yadav.
The new constitution proposes to split Nepal into seven federal provinces. CA Chairman Subas Nembang confirmed the decision. "I have set the date for promulgating the new constitution for September 20 at 5 pm after consulting with the top leaders of major political parties," Nembang told Republica on Monday. He said, he fixed the date after consulting Prime Minister and Nepali Congress (NC) President Sushil Koirala, CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli and UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Monday. If the constitution making process goes as per the plan, the CA secretariat expects the rest of the process of constitution-making to conclude within a few days. With the completion of the ongoing clause-wise voting process, the CA will hold vote division on the Constitution Bill in a bulk.
