PM Oli arrives in Jhapa, vows not to let people down

Prime Minister KP Oli is set to receive public felicitation in Jhapa. Addressing a felicitations and greetings exchange programme held by CPN (UML) District Working Committee, Jhapa at Birtamod, PM Oli pledged to rid the country of twine bridges and the burden of crippling power outages in the coming two years.
He further stressed that all the Nepal people will have a home within the next two years.

Oli, who is also the chairperson of CPN (UML), will be felicitated at a grand ceremony in Jhapa, according to the party's district chairperson Chintan Pathak.

Pathak said the people of Jhapa are felicitating Oli for being elected the first PM of Nepal after the promulgation of constitution of federal democratic Nepal. This will be Oli's first visit to his home district after assuming the top executive post of the country.
