National Madhes Socialist Party Chairman Sharad Singh Bhandari today accused the government of trying to impose dictatorship in the name of nationalism. Speaking at a press meet organised by National Journalists’ Union Banke chapter in Nepalgunj, Bhandari said, “The government with participation of ultra leftists, ultra rightists and Bijay Kumar Gachhadar has set a very good example of opportunism.” Stating that the government was trying to impose dictatorship in the country, Bhandari asked all the democratic forces to be united to fight the extremist government. “Now, Madhes has to fight not only for the rights of the Madhesi people but also for democracy”, said Bhandari.
