Cadres of the United Madhesi Front here have vandalized about a dozen vehicles today. They have vandalized eight trucks and two motorbikes parked at Katahari, said the District Police Office, Morang.
Similarly, the protesters even vandalized an ambulance (Ko 1 Cha 7997) heading to Biratnagar. The ambulance was carrying a patient. Likewise, police have arrested eight protesters and beefed up the security in the areas. Meanwhile, an unidentified gang has torched a truck (Na 4 Kha 5983) at Chorniya Bridge last night. The truck was carrying molasses to Kathmandu from Barthawa of Sarlahi district. Police are investigating into the incident.
