Update: Pilots stops paragliding services in Pokhara

Paragliding pilots in Pokhara have stops services in Pokhara , owing to their rift with the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal. Pilots accused CAAN of illegally collecting an additional sum of Rs 9,000 per month from them. “CAAN used to charge a foreign para pilot Rs 4,500 for 15 days.A total of 45 companies are operating paragliding flights in Pokhara, according to CAAN.Pokhara is one of the top 5 commercial tandem paragliding locations in the world, with all the right ingredients: stable thermals, convenient take-off and landing zones, the safety of a large lake and incredible mountain views. Paragliding might not be in everyone’s budget. That being said, if it’s something you want to try at some point in your life, Pokhara is the perfect place to do it. Looking back, most likely you won’t regret it.
