Nepali Congress (NC) vice president Ram Chandra Paudel said that current president Sushil Koirala will not file his candidacy for the president post this time. However, koirala also said he has no intention for to file his candidacy. Speaking with reporters at Biratnagar on Friday, Paudel said that he was planning to file his candidacy for the post. "Sushil Koirala will not file his candidacy," Paudel said, "I am planning to fight for the post." "There will be a formal announcement on presidential candidates soon," Paudel added. Also,Issuing a press statement Saturday, the agitating madheshi Front said it continued the ongoing protest programs besides launching some new demonstration activities.
