Ram Chandra Poudel is a Nepalese politician, belonging to the Nepali Congress. He is from Tanahun. In the 2008 Constituent Assembly election he was elected from the Tanahu-2 constituency, winning 18970 votes. He was elected as the Leader of Parliamentary Party of the Nepali Congress on June 20, 2009 by securing 61 votes against Sher Bahadur Deuba, a former Prime Minister who secured 48 votes. Poudel is also Vice President of Nepali Congress Party.
