The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Sunday raided the Kathmandu Metropolitan City Offices at Sundhara. The anti-graft body took hold of all the papers and documents of the office. A special squad deployed from the anti-graft body seized documents of the past two years from the KMC´s Urban Development, Environment and Revenue divisions. CIAA claims that the metropolitan office has misappropriated billions of rupees. CIAA Spokesperson Shreedhar Sapkota said," there were over 200 complaints registered at the CIAA related to construction and revenue collection of the KMC."
