Well known Sarangi Player of Nepal Shyam Nepali who was born on 1972 at Kritipur to father Late Ram Sharan Nepali and mother Shanta Maya Nepali. He started playing Sarangi at the early age of 8. He comes from “Sarangi Gharana” also learned Sarangi from Grandfather Magar Kancha and his father Ram Sharan Nepali. Shyam Nepali has already come out with 21 instrumental albums till date some of them are: Surubha,Journey to Himalaya, Samishran, Sita Pati and many more. He has performed to various countries like London, Newyork, Japan and many others too with the Nepali Instrument Sarangi to promote Nepali traditional culture all over the world. He is also associated with two famous band of Nepal “ Sukarma” and “ Rudra Band”. Recently he has launched with a new instrumental fusion album “Laya Bazaar” with Rudra band members.
