Construction of Pokhara International Airport is finally set to kick off

The Cabinet on Monday gave a go-ahead for the construction of a regional international airport in the tourist city of Pokhara.The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal and Ministry of Tourism have gave a go-ahead to a Chinese company for US $216 million to develop Pokhara International Airport. Pokhara Airport is a regional airport serving Pokhara in Nepal. The airport was established on 4 July 1958 and is operated by the government (Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal). It offers regular connections to Kathmandu and different part of Nepal. Following a new agreement Pokhara is to be the site of Nepal's second international airport. The project is t ofinish in 3 years. Pokhara is a beautiful city to visit. Pokhara is beautiful not just in day but it looks gorgerous in night too. It is very good news for the people of Pokhara that Pokhara International Airport has finally come to a point. The Chinese company has agreed to work for US $216 million. China CAMC Engineering Co., Ltd. (CAMCE) is an incorporated company affiliated to China National Machinery Industry Corporation (SINOMACH). Construction of Pokhara International Airport is finally set to kick off.
