25 people have lost lives in a bus accident in Doti. The bus number (Na 3 Kha 5707) which was traveling to Dhangadi from Doti which fell from 300 meters down the road near Chatiwan in the district on Monday. A total of 41 have been injured from the accident police have informed that 31 among the injured have been taken to Hospital. The accident site is 50 kilometers north from Attariya in Dhangadi. In-Charge of the Area Police Office, Budar, Dan Singh Karki said police personnel are carrying out rescue operations. “We have been unable to take injured passengers to hospital in lack of vehicles,” he added. The deceased are yet to be identified. The passenger bus was heading toward Dhangadhi of Kailali from Jorayal of Doti. It was carrying more than 100 persons including on the hood. Karki said the death toll may rise as the police team has just reached the incident site and is busy in rescue operations. The accident site is 50 kilometers north from Attariya in Dhangadi.
