Nepal promoted to Division 2

Nepal secured promotion to ICC Division 2 as the group winner of ICC World Cricket League Division 3 on Wednesday. Nepal overcame home team Malaysia by 35 runs in the rain-hit last group match under Duckworth-Lewis (D/L) method played at the Selangor Turf Club in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.Nepal has won the rain-affected match against USA by 10 runs at the ICC World Cricket League Division-III played in Malaysia on Tuesday. With last round league match remaining, Nepal moved up the summit of the table by the virtue of net run rate despite having equal six points as that of second placed Bermuda. Shakti gave away 30 runs in his 10 over bowling. Basanta conceded 41 runs in his 10 over spell and Sagar gave 41 runs in his eight over spell.
