Three people were killed and over 40 have gone missing after a passenger bus plunged into the Bheri River at Bhur VDC-8 in the district on Thursday morning. The joint effort from Nepal Police, Nepal Army and locals has rescued 10 passengers alive. The bus, which was said to be carrying around 50 commuters, has completely submersed under the water. Police have recovered three dead bodies being washed away by the river. The identity of the deceased is yet to be established.
