PM Narendra Modi to visit Janakpur in Nepal ( SAARC Summit )

Different shrines and temples in Janakpur are now being decorated after Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Kathmandu via Janakpur on November 25 to take part in the 18th SAARC summit.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Nepal via land route to attend the SAARC summit in November and he is likely to visit major religious sites Janakpur and Lumbini during his four-day visit. Nepal's Parliamentary Development Committee has directed the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport Management to immediately renovate the 19-kilometer road section from Bhittamod transit point to Janakpur.Indian Prime Minister Modi is likely to enter Nepal via land route from Patna, which is four hours drive from Bhittamod.The Ministry of Physical Planning and Transport Management has been informed that India Prime Minister Modi is likely to come to Nepal for the SAARC Summit via land, according to Secretary at the Ministry Tulasi Prasad Sitoula. Security has been beefed up in all the three holy sites ahead of Modi's visit to Nepal. During his previous visit to Nepal in August, Prime Minister Modi had expressed his desire to visit Janakpur and Lumbini.
