Police have arrested Ram Prasad Adhikari of Phujel VDC-7 in Gorkha from Kathmandu in connection with the killing of Krishna Prasad Adhikari of same place. Ram Prasad Adhikari of Chitwan was arrested from Kathmandu last night, according to superintendent of police (SP) Sahakul Bahadur Thapa at the Chitwan Police.He was brought to Chitwan today and will be presented before the Court, SP Thapa said. Krishna Adhikari's parent—father Nanda Prasad and Ganga Maya had been long staging a fast-unto-death demanding action against those involved in the murder of their son some 10 years ago. Nanda Prasad died in course of the hunger strike while Ganga Maya continues her struggle to see the murderers of her son brought to justice.Nur Prasad, brother of the deceased Krishna Prasad had filed a murder case against 11 persons. Nanda Prasad, father of Krishna Prasad had died three months ago while staging fast-unto-death demanding action against the murderers of his son while his wife is undergoing treatment at Bir Hospital.
