80 Nepalis face Interpol's Red Corner Notice

80 NepalisNational Central Bureaus of seven countries have issued Red Corner Notice against 80 Nepalis for committing crimes in foreign lands.“The Interpol circulates Red Corner Notices for the purpose of arrest and subsequent deportation of criminals and suspects on the recommendation of its member countries upon verification of their details,” DIG Nawa Raj Silwal, central police spokesperson said. According to him, nine NCBs, including NCB Kathmandu has issued Red Corner Notices against 79 Nepalis till date. Those NCB offices seeking arrest and deportation of Nepalis are NCB Kathmandu, NCB New Delhi, NCB Washington, NCB Minsk (Belarus), NCB Abu Dhabi, NCB Rome, NCB Doha, NCB Riyadh and NCB Bahrain.“NCB New Delhi tops the chart with 25 Nepalis in the list followed by NCB Doha (20), NCB Abu Dhabi (13), NCB Kathmandu (11), NCB Washington (four), NCB Riyadh (three) and NCB Minsk and NCB Belarus one each,” DIG Silwal said.
