Interview with Shesh Ghale ( NRNA President )

Ghale was graduated in Master of Civil Engineering from Kharkov Automobile and Highway Institute of Kharkiv, Ukraine from 1979 to 1986 which was the scholarship program of the government of Nepal. He then returned and worked for Department of Transport Management as an engineer in a highway development project. In 1990, he moved to Melbourne, Australia to do further studies where he completed Master of Business Administration from Victoria University, Australia in 1994.

NRN President Shesh Ghale and his wife Jamuna Gurung announce Rs. 1 billion charity for health and education sector. President of Non Resident Nepali Association (NRN) Shesh Ghale 's Melbourne Institute of Technology Group Foundation on Thursday announced a charity of Rs 1 billion to be spent on education and health sectors in Nepal's remote corners.  Ghale, who features in the billionaires’ list in Australia, has also initiated the construction of the NRN central office building in Kathmandu.  Founder of the MIT Group Foundation Ghale and his wife Jamuna Gurung have a combined wealth of $265 million in Australia.

 In a pres meeting Ghaleysaid,“You all know that both of us were born in remote villages of Lamjung district and struggled amid crisis and hardship. Our parents were not educated, but luckily we got a chance to go to school due to their understanding of the importance of education,” Ghale said.  “My wife Jamuna completed her school-level education by collecting firewood and at the same time collecting grass for cattle,” he said, speaking at the announcement ceremony of the fund. “I am highly moved by my father’s dedication to education.”
