Major parties fails to reach to a consensus

The major political parties have failed to forge a consensus on the disputed issues of the new constitution. The meeting of Parliamentary Business Advisory Committee has hit a deadlock after the ruling and opposition parties locked their horns over whether or not to go for Constituent Assembly (CA) process.Top leaders of four major forces – Nepali Congress (NC), CPN-UML, UCPN-Maoist and United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) – are holding a meeting in presence of CA Chair Subas Chandra Nembang to forge consensus in disputed issues of the constitution.
